Independent Testing Ranks Levi’s Stadium Number 1 for Wireless Connectivity — and That Was Before Full Deployment

NFL stadiums tested for connectivity, ranking the San Francisco 49ers’ Levi’s Stadium at the top – DGP’s work rises beyond!

Everyone appreciates independent validation, so when we saw this report in the Denver Post on Friday, we were pleased. Read past the poor showing by the Broncos, to the “Top Stadium” reporting. Levi’s Stadium ranked number one in the NFL for wireless connectivity, when tested by the independent firm RootMetrics. 

The firm tested each NFL stadium for one game during the regular season and here’s the clincher: The day they quietly tested Levi’s was a day early in the stadium’s life when only 60% of the distributed antenna system DAS Group Professionals designed, built and maintains had been deployed. “That day was pre-optimization and before one of the carriers had fully implemented its technology. The fact that we scored so well at 60% gives you an idea of what to expect at 100%, after the Super Bowl related enhancements,” says Vince Gamick, DGP vice president.
